Kids are awesome !! it’s a cheer we keep chanting several times a day helps keep our focus and sanity !

Joking aside though.. April and i have never been challenged so much. Speaking for myself.. there are so many sacrifices, hobbies, sleep, time and comforts that need to be put aside in our personal lives. i never though i would be looking over the weeks schedule and find it hard to fit in something like “mowing the lawn”.. or getting the “oil changed in the car”..”watching a favorite tv show” or even “grocery shopping”

But the real challenge is not the twins…. it’s actually our first son Ethan. The poor little guy is starving for attention like never before. he will do anything.. and i mean any crazy thing to get attention from April and I. unfortunately he is leaning toward the “dark side for the force”… it can be humorous at times but also stretch your limits to which our patience has never felt.

But i’m am so glad we’ve been given these beautiful children. there is no greater feeling then what i feel when i look at the four of them together. We are SO blessed !!

I’ve been so proud of our daughter Ella these past two weeks. She has been so gentle and sweet to her new little brothers.. and she has been such a good helper too. Ethan has been good too… but he’s been spending most of his time playing his guitar.

The End of week #2

Two weeks have flown by and the babies are growing like crazy. They are both over 7 pounds now and eating like big boys too. Micah definitely enjoys his bottle time.

I still find it so amazing that they not only look so much a like, but they have so many of the same movements, sounds and expressions. for example.. they were sitting there(in the first picture) just hanging out.. and then they simultaneously stretched their arms in the air like they were on some thrill ride.. funny stuff !
